I think mobile payments are the currency of the future. Why have a phone, wallet and keys when you can just have one device that does it all? Google Wallet just launched and although I have posted a graphic before on this topic, now more players are in the game.
One of the surprising types of mobile payment systems are the Closed Loop Mobile Payments. I’d think more restaurant chains would have already hopped on this. No more long lines at lunch. You enter the door and get on the app and order your food. They send your order number to your phone and you wait for it to be called out. No cashier or waiter, just efficiency. [Via]
