I love to putter around in the garden and I have often toyed around with the idea of starting a vegetable garden. The problem is I’m no farmer.
That’s why finding this all in one planting and harvesting cheat sheet has ignited my desire to get out into the sunshine and start my vegetable patch. The cheat sheet contains everything you need to know about growing a wide range of vegetables.
Follow it and in no time, you’ll have everything you need to make salads, soups, and stews. With careful planning, you can ensure that you bring in a harvest in almost every month of the year. Vegetables are an essential part of our diet, ensuring that we receive plenty of vitamins and trace elements, which most of us don’t eat enough of. If you could just step out of your back door to reap your produce just before dinner every evening, your diet is bound to improve.
Many of these vegetables don’t even need you to make an investment in seeds. Broad beans, potatoes, and tomatoes will grow from seeds or offshoots from fresh vegetables. Why not plant some delicious herbs like parsley, thyme, basil, and rosemary between your veggies for a full, flavorsome selection.
Since most of these plants require direct sunlight, I’ve already identified a sunny spot in my own garden. I’ve also started an organic compost heap after a little bit of research from the internet. It’s all been very exciting, gathering together vegetable offcuts and organic compost to feed back into the earth.
Time now to start planting your favorite vegetables!
