I’m only 5-foot-2, so I don’t know much about being tall. The closest I get is when I dare to wear heels.
Since I’m particularly pint-sized, this infographic has me in awe of the world around me. I had no idea that Venezuela had waterfalls, let alone falls tall enough to inspire the setting for a Disney movie.
One of my favorite facts from this graphic: The location of the tallest tree in the world has to be kept secret for its protection. It’s horrible to think about someone chopping it down for sport, so hopefully a 400-foot tree will still manage to be hidden away.
Additionally, the world’s tallest sunflower is nearly four times the height of an elephant. I thought I loved big bouquets, but this does seem a tiny bit excessive.
It’s impossible to sum up all of the interesting-ness on this infographic in this blog post––you’ll just have to dig in yourself! I bet you’ll never complain about being too tall again. When you’re done, check out our post about some cool dog-related world records.
