The Best Time Of Day To Do Everything

By | source:Here Sep 17th, 2019

Have you ever heard of chronobiology? Probably not by that name, but you sure have been aware of it your whole life. Chronobiology is the scientific term for what many people know as ‘biological clock’. Studies in chronobiology try to determine just how ‘good timing’ is hardwired into your DNA.

There are tens of thousands of tips on how to improve your productivity around the web. Many of these tips and hacks actually work, but there are some ways your own body is trying to tell you when the best time to do certain things is.

Some studies have found that the best time to learn new things is between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, and then from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. During these intervals, your brain is in acquisition mode. This means is willing and ready to absorb new information. As it turns out, studying all day long might not be the best for your productivity. Your brain actually needs time to recharge between the first period and the second one.

On the other hand, the best times to brainstorm are those times when your brain is a bit sluggish from tiredness. During these periods, your right and left hemispheres connect much more easily, and you come up with crazy creative ideas. This means you won’t be at your best creativity-wise right in the middle of the day when your left hemisphere is controlling pretty much everything.

Get ready to get the best out of your own biology, and use your biological clock to your own advantage.
