Don’t throw away your leftover food! Here are some simple recipes that will give a new spin to old food. You won’t even know it’s the same meal!
Food waste is a big problem in the Western world. Even though world hunger is on the rise, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations states that a third of all produced food is lost and/or goes to waste. Not only the food itself is lost: all the resources that go into growing, harvesting and feeding animals are wasted as well. Not cool, people! In fact, all of this waste could go on to feed the 3 billion people that currently suffer from hunger. We can do better!
Everyone can do their bit to avoid extra food waste. From farmers to transportation, supermarkets to final consumers, we all play a role and can prevent further food waste.

Here are some simple recipes you can make with yesterday’s meals. They’re so good you’ll want to make extra just to make them!
