As kids of all ages go through their studies, they get to learn of all the great men in history who have contributed to the collective knowledge in science and technology we enjoy today… and they’re not getting the full picture.

It is an issue when kids get the impression in school that most —if not all— of humanity’s scientific achievements are attributed to white men. That’s not only a big lie, but it also alienates kids of different backgrounds and ethnicities by the fact that they can’t see themselves in such endeavors, therefore they don’t feel encouraged to pursue a career in STEM.
