The Ultimate Guide To Hot Dog Style Around The World

By | source:Here Jun 3rd, 2023

Hot dogs are a classic American dish, but that doesn’t mean other countries don’t know how to make them taste even better. From gourmet options like the California Dog and Chicago-style weiners, to more traditional takes like the French hot dog, there’s something for everyone. So if you’re looking for something new and delicious when it comes time for lunch or dinner, you’ve come to the right place!

New York

The hot dog in New York is a great example of a hot dog style that’s not just one thing. The “all the works” style is considered by many to be the quintessential New York-style hot dog, and it comes with mustard, ketchup, relish, onions and sauerkraut (sometimes called “kraut”). Other toppings include chili sauce or diced onions instead of regular chopped ones; cheese; bacon slices; pickles or jalapenos added to the mix! If you’re looking for something different from all these toppings–and let’s face it: who isn’t?–you could go for one with just plain relish (that’s actually my favorite). Or maybe even just mustard on top–if you’re feeling adventurous! Hot dogs are traditionally all beef but there are some places where they serve up chicken varieties too.

Korea

Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish made from fermented vegetables, usually cabbage. It’s spicy and sour, with a range of different flavors depending on the type of kimchi you’re eating. It’s usually served with pork or seafood and eaten with rice as part of a full meal (banchan). The dog itself is topped with kimchi, which adds an extra layer of flavor to the existing ones in your mouth!

Germany

Currywurst is a German fast food dish. The sausage is made of pork, beef or veal, cut into slices and seasoned with curry ketchup. It was invented in 1949 by Herta Heuwer in Berlin’s Bahnhof Zoo train station restaurant as an attempt to make use of leftover sausages. Currywurgers are popular all over Germany and are served at festivals such as Oktoberfest. They are also sold by street vendors who often specialize in them; these vendors sometimes have large vertical spits turning over charcoal braziers so that customers can watch their orders being prepared.[2][3]

France

The hot dog a la Parisienne is the most popular style of hot dog in France. It consists of a hot dog with a fried egg, French fries and mayonnaise sauce on top. Additional toppings can be added such as ketchup or mustard.

China

Daiji Noodles are a Chinese dish that consists of noodles, meat and vegetables. It’s also known as “Hot Dog Style” because hot dogs are very popular fast food in China. Hot dogs are served with Daiji Noodles along with chili sauce and cheese. This meal is very popular among young people who like to try new things!
