Getting a job right now can be difficult in America, especially for those people fresh out of school with little to no experience in their field. Even if you do have relevant experience and prerequisites, you likely won’t be the only one competing for the position. So, in many cases, the pressure is on. Sometimes you have to get creative and think outside the box for employment options, jobs that you may have never known existed or ones that you thought didn’t pay very well. For example, did you know that you can actually get a job that lets you travel around and test water slides? Who wouldn’t want to do that?
Today’s infographic from Payscale gives us a look at various odd jobs, professions, and the sometimes surprising amount of money that can be made doing them. In addition to the previously mentioned water slide tester, you could potentially get a job as submarine cook for potentially $200,000 a year. Another potential job that can pay upwards of $80,000 a year is voice acting or voice over work, which sounds like an incredibly fun way to earn a living.
