If you’re like me, you’ve spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best wine producers to buy from. I’ve been doing my research for years and have finally come up with a list that is sure to help you out.
Italy
Italy is the most popular producer of wine in the world. It has been making wine since ancient times, with its production divided into two main regions: Piedmont and Tuscany. Italy produces more than 400 million bottles of wine per year and has been exporting them for centuries.
France
France is the world’s largest wine producer, with over 9 billion bottles produced per year. It also exports more wine than any other country in the world. The French have been cultivating grapes since Roman times and have refined their techniques over centuries of experience. Some varieties are grown only on specific slopes or in certain regions, which means that each bottle tells an individual story about its origins and history–and that’s what makes it so special!
Spain
Spain is the third largest producer of wine in the world, after France and Italy. The country has a long history of wine production that dates back to Roman times, when it was known as Hispania. Spain produces mostly red wines from grapes such as Tempranillo, Garnacha and Merlot; however there are also some white wines produced here too!
United States
The United States is the third largest producer of wine in the world, behind France and Italy. The country boasts over 7,000 wineries with over 350 million cases produced annually. The state of California alone accounts for almost half that number at nearly 250 million cases produced each year. California has been producing wine since before it became a state; Spanish missionaries planted vines along with other crops when they settled there in 1769 and began making sacramental wines from them immediately after arriving on American soil.
Australia
Australia is the fourth biggest wine producer in the world, behind Italy, France and Spain. The country has a wide range of styles and varieties to choose from including fortified wines like sherry or port; sparkling wines like champagne; and table wines made from grapes such as chardonnay or cabernet sauvignon. Wines from Australia have become increasingly popular over the past few decades thanks to their high quality and low cost compared with other countries’ products.
